About Mahogany Woolfolk
I tell stories that touch the soul — from heartfelt poetry to joyful children’s tales.
I’m Mahogany Woolfolk — an author, poet, and storyteller with a deep love for words that heal, inspire, and connect. My poetry collection, She: Forgiveness, is a heartfelt journey through healing, forgiveness, and self-discovery. My children’s book, Mommy Wants to Eat My Feet, is a joyful and silly celebration of family love, laughter, and representation.
Writing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From scribbling poems in notebooks as a child to publishing my own books as an adult, storytelling has always been my way of making sense of the world and connecting with others.
As a Black author, I believe representation matters. I create poetry that speaks to the soul and children’s stories that make kids giggle — but underneath it all, my mission is the same: to spark conversations, inspire self-love, and remind readers that their voices matter.
Every book I write comes from the heart, blending creativity, authenticity, and a desire to leave something meaningful in the world. Whether it’s a poem that makes you reflect or a bedtime story that makes your child laugh, I hope my work stays with you long after the last page.
